Back from the Dead

Where I've been, many, MANY updates, and some things to look forward to

Bella Where the Hell Have you Been Loca

I wish I would have been doing something cool and fun in the many months it’s been since I’ve sent an email or released a book, but unfortunately I’ve been gone because of a lethal three-way combination of new major health issues, preparing to move houses, and a fugue state brought on by watching the world crumble around us. Winter is never kind to me, and this year was exceptionally bad with the added stress.

I’m hoping now that it’s warming up and I feel more like a person and less like a microwaved corpse, that I’ll be more productive. Thank you for sticking around and for your patience!

Now that we’re finally all here again, I have some very exciting new things to share, so buckle up for the ride.

Apples Special Edition Book Box

Euphoric Lit has picked up my taboo sci-fi novel The Apples of New Eden for a special naked hardcover illustrated by @_neonjess (on instagram) with foil accents and sprayed edges. The interior formatting is also GORGEOUS (done by Cait at Euphoric Lit). It includes extra internal content, art, bookmarks, stickers, the whole shebang! Cait went ALL OUT for this special edition, and I feel so spoiled and lucky to have my book be Euphoric Lit’s May/June book.

Open preorders run until April 17th, so if you’re interested, please go snag a copy while you can! Also you can find shipping details on the website as well! Euphoric Lit is based in Australia, so shipping is a little bit higher to the US.

New Book Releases

Yesterday I released two novelettes (and no, it was not an April Fool’s Prank, I don’t do those.)

glimmerglass has been in the works since last December, and I kept having to push the release back due to my mental and physical health, as well as the moving stress. But now it’s finally out, and as an apology and thank you for waiting so long, I also revamped my weird west story that appeared in Dead Cowpokes Don’t Wrangle.

Red as Blood, Black as Tar has acquired 5,000 more words, corpse kissing, and weird dreams. I hope that you’ll enjoy them both! I don’t have the preview files up on payhip yet, so I will put the graphics I used to announce them yesterday in case you’re looking for those.

You can find both of these Payhip exclusive novelettes here.

Don’s Dead Market

I’m also very excited to announce that my taboo novella Made in Blood will be part of Don’s Dead Market, a collaboration between 39 vendors. It includes taboo Achillean works of art for your pleasure, horror, and everything in between. There are comics, books, games, and art books.

Sales open May 19th, and it works like a virtual market where you pay one price and get access to all of the content. Tickets are $30, which will go directly back to the participants and the admins. The bundle runs from June 19th to 21st. Keep an eye out, as I will be posting more about this as it gets closer to sales opening day!

Misc. News and Updates

My involuntary 6-month hiatus has come to an end, and I hope that I can be a lot more active and productive now. I’m still working on getting Made in Blood and Fulgurite into paperback (with extra content!!) on Lulu, so that will be one of the things that I work on this spring.

Another thing I hope to work on this year is releasing a couple of longer works. I know that a lot of my readers have been asking for more, and I hope to deliver. I’m still playing around with what works and what helps me grow my audience and sales, since I don’t publish on itchio anymore. I have some plans and WIPs in the works, and I can’t wait to reveal more about them the closer I get to releasing them.

I hope to also put out more newsletters this year. I might switch to monthly newsletters, or I might stay bi-monthly, but either way, I hope it won’t be about 6 months between newsletters again!

I haven’t moved yet, so when that does eventually happen, I might go a little radio silent because that’s a very stressful time, but I’m hoping it’ll be over quickly, as I’ve done most of my packing and I’m currently living out of a couple of boxes.

Thank you as always for being here, for supporting me, and for reading my weird, funky books. I hope you have a wonderful spring, and I’ll talk to you soon!
